docs: Updating Introduction.mdx, README, and FAQs #1569

The introduction page and the project's README seems to share various similarities. Should they be merged into one in the same manner as #1471? Seeking an official stance on this.

Furthermore, I'd like to add a FAQ page for some generic Matrix stuff (what's a backfill/what's a state reset/links to other pages etc). Do advise if this is desirable
