Delete branch "star-bird/continuwuity:docs/introduction-trying-it-out"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Includes step-by-step directions to ease the lift for those who have ended up
here and who have never created a matrix account or used matrix before in the
past.
mainbranch, and the branch is named something other thanmain.myself, if applicable. This includes ensuring code compiles.

Your password is your password. Not certain custom instructions for federated nexus will be wanted by the rest of the continuwuity folks, but if so then the username can just be
usernamefor cinny at least, the :federated.nexus and @ are not needed for most clients. As a relatively new user, I prefer to be given instructions that will just generally "always work" - which is what I'm trying to do here. An experienced user understands the differences and when to use one or the other.
I'm not certain what the preference will be. That said, I did ask for directions on how to make a matrix account on federated.nexus, so I feel like they're probably warranted - at least for readers who are figuring out where to make their first matrix account and end up here, like I did a few days ago.
I'm happy to change this or rewrite it if it's desired overall. For now I'll leave it as I have a weak preference towards being detailed and I will leave it unchanged pending more feedback.
Edited: Grammar, clarity.

You could do cinny and element, as an example, or cinny and explain any client that supports registrations will work :)
Good call out, will make the change. The "any client that supports registration" bit is what's important, I lost several hours figuring that out a couple days ago making my first account...
It's in the next commit.

I'll keep this open for now but it'll probably be closed when that happens.

Whoops, fixed.
