  Hello! Apparently being on vacation doesn't preclude me from creating releases... We've got a security patch for 26.7.2 for you all today that fixes some recently-discovered vulnerabilities. It does not include any new features merged into main since 26.7.2 released.

  Bugfixes

  • Fixed a vulnerability that enabled the server to leak certain events over federation. Contributed by @eleboucher. (SEC26)
  • Fixed an issue that allowed an attacker to take over another account on the same server under certain conditions. Contributed by @ginger and reported by GlitchedAxiom. (SEC28)
